Studded Shoes for under $10!

The Perfect Playground shoe was such a hit (with you and me) that I went back to Five Below and bought a few more pairs. But this time, I left the paint with Jo, it was time to get studding!

You Need:
-Black (Skippies) from Five Below (only $5, really can’t beat it)
-Metal studs (these have a flat back, probably meant to be sewn on)
– Hot glue gun
This was what it looked like half way through.
Literally, all you want to do is put a dab of hot glue on the shoe and then lay the stud over top. It’s that simple! Just make sure you add enough glue to hold it, but not so much that it gobs out! If some happens to, try to scrape it off before it completely cools. I was using a mechanical pencil (without the lead).
DIY Studded Shoes

In total these DIY’d shoes cost $7.50, and took an hour to make (But keep in mind one of the reasons it took me so long is ┬ábecause I am a perfectionist and two because I kept burning my fingers on the glue.)

So, what do you think? Feeling inspired yet? (If, the answer is no don’t worry, I still have another shoe up my sleeve.. I just haven’t figured out it’s destiny yet!)

xo, Dee
