Organize your refrigerator

Are you hoping to become a bit more organized?

Well you’re in luck! Today myself and 33 other bloggers are going to show you how we plan to get organized with a little DIY! My Organizational post is going to focus on your fridge!

There are 2 types of people in this world, those that save leftovers and those that don’t. If you’re a Leftover Saver this post is for you!! I tell you how to make Chalkboard Labels so that you always know what’s lurking behind that sealed Tupperware container AND when you made it!!

organize the tupperware in your refrigerator

You need:

  • Chalkboard vinyl
  • Silhouette Cutter (or scissors and a stencil)
  • Chalkboard Marker

  • Open your Silhouette software and pick a basic shape to fill your page. (As you can see I went with a circle.)
  • Insert your chalkboard vinyl into your machine and cut! (I used the vinyl setting)
  • Weed, and apply the vinyl to your tupperware and you are done!

xo, Dee

  1. So simple yet so amazing! This is such a great idea especially since I never know either what is in the container or when I put it there…it’s always a terrifying guessing game lol

  2. I disagree – there are 3 types of people. Those who save leftovers, those who don’t, and those who don’t but live with those who do! Earl is a leftover saver. I’m not so much. I mean, I hate throwing away food, but I tend to stash the leftovers in the fridge and then forget about them (or not want to eat them) until they go bad. This is such a great idea to avoid that mold pit!

  3. Dee ~ This is genius! We always have leftovers and I try to write what’s inside / date on masking tape. It doesn’t always happen and then I’m left wondering. Chalkboard labels make this so much easier.

  4. Chalkboard Vinyl? Excellent!!! This was a great blog I’m glade I found it. You could even use the Chalkboard Vinyl to mark wine glasses at parties so glasses don’t get mixed. Speaking of wine lol has anyone tried Bennett Lane Winery? They have my favorite Red and White Wines called Maximus. All this wine talk is making me thirsty lol I’m going to order some now from bennettlane .com
