If it’s to early for a Popsicle (or if you haven’t made it to the store) here are a few ideas to help keep your little one cool and happy during snack time!

The Watermelon Pop is my Oh, Crap know the kind that you need to whip together when you are in a bind (i.e. can’t find the Popsicle tray, am out of EVERYTHING, it’s only 9AM but we’ve been outside for an hour..etc.) You could call it a “good enough Popsicle” it’s not earth shattering, but it tastes good.. and at least for Jo, if it looks like a Popsicle, feels like a Popsicle.. it must be a Popsicle, which means I am good!

Beat the Heat with a DIY cold treat! (from wine to whine)

Slice down a piece of fruit, put a popsicle stick insid, cover with saran wrap, and pop it in the freezer for an hour.
