Does your child’s school celebrate the 100th Day of School?
Ours does and I have been anxiously counting down the days. Afterall, I LOVE making themed shirts 🙂
Since Jolie loves making things as much as I do I let her take the lead on her shirt design and DIY. She picked out jewel tone stars from Oriental Trading and pinned a whole bunch of ideas from Pinterest. First, she was thinking “100 Day’s Brighter” then “Blasting Through 100 Day’s of School”, when she finally thought up “100 Magical Days.”
1st, she found a fairy on the Silhouette Design Store. We bought it, she picked out her colors of HTV, and cut the design.
2nd, she counted out 100 stars.
3rd, she weeded the HTV.
Then I had to take over since the remaining steps required high heat.
4th, I pressed the HTV with my heatpress.
5th, hot glued the stars to her shirt.
She did a good job don’t you think?
Does your kid’s school celebrate the 100th day? Show me your shirt design.
Please note, I received the stars to write this post.
